Pride is of course that time of year where everyone is Gay for the day (or week if you can drink that much).
This annual extravaganza that is supposed to celebrate all the strides that the GLBT community has made. While corporate interests have sometimes seemingly slowly taken over, this celebration of freedom is a great reminder of what a great country we live in.
At the heart of Pride is a colourful, bold, in-your-face type of party where the whole city (or it seems) comes out to celebrate. In the spirit of fun, we have kept the text to a minimum. This is our small highlight of Pride 2009.
